It turns out that hiding amongst our community are dozens of people interested in the ‘dark art’ of turning piles of decomposing organic matter into steaming piles of fertile goodness! Are you amongst them?

Perhaps your interest is in utilising the abundant resources that are trucked out of our community, or put to low value use. Perhaps you have composting skills and experience that you’d like to share. Perhaps you want to learn how to improve your compost game. Perhaps you just want to hang out with the coolest people in town, and aren’t afraid to get elbows deep in black gold. Whatever heats your pile, we need to talk.

Come along for a casual discussion about what a group of committed volunteers can do with the resources our town produces when armed with good systems, suitable equipment, and the people power that is just waiting for the call.
