This acclaimed play, The Rainmaker is coming to Indigo Shire as part of its Youth Mental Health Project.
The story is of Billy and Howie, best friends who are both facing big challenges in their lives - Billy has unexpectedly been thrown into the role of father and carer at home, his AFL dreams in tatters, and Howie, is struggling with anxiety and depression as well as his sexuality. A major incident at their local footy match will test their resilience and courage and acts as a catalyst for necessary change.
The Rain Maker is an arts project designed to engage and educate youth audiences around mental health and care and is suitable for young people 12 years and over and their families.
